Day -137: Preparing for My Camino de Santiago

Updated: Mar 29, 2023

March 4, 2018

I walked 13.1 miles on the C&O Canal this weekend in preparation for my Camino. In honor of my trip, I thought I would post this piece of jewelry of the Santiago Cross. You can also see the Santiago Cross painted on the Scallop Shell in the background. The Scallop Shell is the symbol of the Camino de Santiago and most pilgrims will have a scallop shell tied to their backpack. The only jewelry I have ever worn was a wedding ring, but I think I will wear the cross you see in my hand on my trip in July and August. What do you think of it?
